Day 3

The hotel at slowtown was good, although like most it had a coffee maker and no

Not sure if these pictures were on sale…Maybe it was a spot the difference, bit of entertainment for guests.

They also do ‘continental’ breakfasts there which is really clandestine for ordinary breakfast similar as is in australia…there was a choice of flavourless Cheerios, rancid looking pastries and bread that looked like deep-fried fish. and of course coffee on tap! i had a bowl of what seemed to be stale corn flakes. Hehe.

There was this heavy fog in the area.

And late morning we begun the rest of the road trip into Anaheim. We stopped at Santa Maria and had lunch at a diner, and had a quick shop around.

Then we stopped at Santa Barbara and chilled on the beach for a bit. I was too chicken to drive over there. Getting into LA there were 6 lanes each way!

The Howard Johnson in Anaheim was by far the best hotel, because it was a bit bigger.

And it had a fridge which saved us keeping ice in the sink

So the 4 of us spent every night in the same room…Maybe these bottles evidence our coping mechanisms lol.
